A breed that was developed in Delaware and was once the top provider to their broiler industry. This breed is a cross between a Barred Plymouth Rock rooster and New Hampshire hen. This dual-purpose breed features very good egg production, lay large brown eggs, and has superior meat characteristics. It matures in 12 to 16 weeks and can be harvested at any age.
