8 Assorted Fertile Chicken Hatching Eggs and Feed for RentACoop's Hatching Program

• With this product, you are choosing the date Meyer Hatchery will ship 8 eggs and 10 lbs of feed. Please select a date from the availability list. You should have received a code that you can apply at checkout. This set is at no extra cost and is included with your purchase of the RentACoop Hatching Kit and/or Refresh Kit. If you have 2 codes, you will need to place 2 separate orders.
• Eggs ship on Tuesdays and will arrive 2-7 days after the selected "ship date" and are shipped through USPS Priority Mail.
• We recommend shipping to your home or school based on what is most convenient for you. Once the eggs arrive, you can wait up to 48 hours to "set them" and the hatch rate will not decrease. "Setting" the eggs means placing them into the incubator and turning it on to start warming the eggs.
• For schools, we recommend "Setting" the eggs on a Tues, Weds, Thursday or Friday so the chicks hatch during a school day
• Eggs and feed will be shipped in separate boxes with separate shipping labels.
• If your eggs arrive damaged, please contact Meyer Hatchery.
• RentACoop has selected 11 breeds of chickens to be part of the assortment. These breeds are chosen for high egg laying and good temperments that would make for good backyard chicken pets. We will try to ship you an assortment of breeds and egg colors but cannot make any guarantees. The breeds are Barred Rock, Black Australorp, Black Copper Maran, Buff Orpington, Easter Egger, Green Queen, Olive Egger, Rhode Island Red, Salmon Faverolle, Light Brahma and Welsummer.
• Eggs take 20-21 days (3 weeks) to hatch so please make sure you check your calendar 3 weeks from the date you plan to set them and make sure it's not a federal holiday.
