Job will consist of greeting customers as they walk into our store, assessing needs and offering recommendations, ringing up their purchases, helping them with chick pickup orders, all while providing the best customer service. The Shipping Associate must have the ability to receive, understand, and carry out directions in fast-paced shipping, warehouse, poultry, and hatchery environment. Position duties may include: Transfer of eggs from carts, packing egg orders, packing live chick orders, building boxes and an understanding of appropriate, box sizes, packing materials, moving larger birds to assigned locations, assisting with setting up for hatch day, and clean up post-hatch day, sweeping and washing. This position will ensure the highest quality of animal care and maintain the integrity of Meyer Hatchery at all times.

The Breeder Facility Team Member will perform duties at the poultry breeding facility/barn. This position will ensure the highest quality of animal care and maintain the integrity of Meyer Hatchery at all times. It includes egg collection, cleaning, sorting general maintenance, egg delivery to the hatchery shipping warehouse, and other assigned locations while maintaining the health of the breeder birds. Meyer Hatchery is looking for a few great peeps to fill a Customer Support position. This is a remote customer service position that requires weekends. You will be responsible for calls, chats, and emails from our customers that are browsing the Meyer Hatchery website. You might be answering questions about poultry and/or supplies, assisting customers with placing orders and answering general order questions, recommending a starter flock, or helping an experienced flock owner. If you don’t know the answer, be prepared to tap the vast knowledge of the internet and Meyer resources to assist you in your responses. The ideal candidate will also possess the drive and the leadership qualities for potential promotion to team lead.
