The K&H Thermo poultry brooder is ideal for up to 15 chicks. An innovative heating option for brooding chicks, the K&H plate with its pegged design doesn’t require any tools for assembly and the rigid plastic construction allows for easily wiping up messes. Set the plate low enough so that chicks can easily get under while being able to have contact with the plate. If brooding bantams with standard-sized chicks, the plate can be set at an angle. Higher on one side than another. Adjust as needed for growing chicks. Efficient and economical low-wattage brooder plate with a 5.5-foot cord.
