IMPORTANT ORDERING INFORMATION: Eggs are collected fresh on Mondays from our breeding flock and shipped Tuesdays by USPS Priority Mail or FedEx. Hatching Eggs are labeled with breed code to help with ID during incubation. Eggs can be shipped year-round, but please use your own discretion when ordering during extreme weather. We guarantee that your eggs will arrive unbroken, but will not guarantee your hatching success because of the many variables with shipping, incubating and hatching. Breakage must be reported upon arrival.
Speckled Sussex eggs are light brown in color. These speckled layers are known to be excellent foragers and a top dual purpose breed. Their unique dark mahogany color and white spangles on the ends of the feathers make them excellent birds for show. A perfect breed for anyone who loves calm brown layers.
