Note: Due to circumstances outside of our control, the Tufted Toulouse Goose will no longer be available, for this and all future seasons.
At first glance, the Tufted Toulouse is similar in appearance to the common French Toulouse but has a unique tuft of feathers on the top of the head on both sexes. The Tufted Toulouse was developed in the United States from stock imported directly from France. All varieties of Toulouse geese are friendly and inquisitive birds that can be raised for the table if desired. Tufted Toulouse lay an average of 25-30 creamy white eggs per year. Tufted Toulouse are slow to mature. They are also more challenging to breed, needing at least 15" of water.
