Olive Egger Hatching Eggs
IMPORTANT ORDERING INFORMATION: Eggs are collected fresh on Mondays from our breeding flock and shipped Tuesdays by USPS Priority Mail or FedEx. Hatching Eggs are labeled with breed code to help with ID during incubation. Eggs can be shipped year-round, but please use your own discretion when ordering during extreme weather. We guarantee that your eggs will arrive unbroken, but will not guarantee your hatching success because of the many variables with shipping, incubating and hatching. Breakage must be reported upon arrival.
A must-have hybrid for anyone who is seeking colorful egg layers. Olive Eggers are created by crossing a dark brown egg layer with a blue egg layer. Meyer Hatchery has several breeding programs to create our Olive Eggers. Our F1 generation hybrids do typically lay an olive-colored egg, however, the olive color can be in various shades and the potential does exist to lay eggs of different colors.
The eggs that you receive will NOT be olive in color since they are a hybrid. Your eggs could be shades of blues and/or shades of browns similar to the picture. They will hatch out Olive Egger chicks.
Our Olive Eggers are considered an F1 hybrid. If you breed the offspring, they will be considered an F2 Olive Egger. Their feather patterns will likely not look the same, but often their eggs are darker olive than that of their parents.
