Geese for Eggs

Home / Store / Geese for Eggs

Geese are not high producers of eggs, mostly due to their size. They eat a lot to keep up with their weight and that's the focus of most of their energy. That being said, goose eggs are considered some of the best for baking and many use their eggs for crafts. The top layers will lay between 30 and 40 eggs in their season, which runs from approximately May to September. White Chinese and White Embden are your top picks; the Toulouse are also a good option but are slower to mature and challenging to breed.

Waterfowl have a minimum of 3 and you are able to mix and match among day-old duckling and gosling breeds to meet this minimum. We are not able to combine day-old waterfowl with any other poultry types. Waterfowl will ship on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, USPS priority mail, and arrive 1-3 days later. Waterfowl are not able to be picked up as they are sent from our hatching partner. Visit our help desk for more information about waterfowl and shop for Waterfowl Supplies here!
