Jumbo Egyptian Coturnix Quail are power layers and can give you as many as 320 eggs in their first year of production. They are slightly smaller than the Jumbo Wilds but are almost identical in color. This breed carries the roux, aka redhead, gene and appears a bit more red in color.

There is no more waiting until maturity to figure out the gender of your quail! With the Jumbo Egyptian Quail, you can feather sex your chicks at just 3 weeks of age. The females will have spotted chests and the males will present a solid coloring on their chests. Jumbo Egyptian Coturnix Quail can also be used to create other sex link varieties in your own breeding program.
