Eggs can be shipped year-round, but please use your own discretion when ordering during extreme weather. We guarantee that your eggs will arrive unbroken but will not guarantee your hatching success because of the many variables with shipping, incubating, and hatching. Breakage must be reported upon arrival.

The Blue Swedish duck was first documented in 1835 and originated in the Swedish Pomerania region which is now the Baltic coast of Germany and Poland. The Blue Swedish is a slow-maturing, moderately-sized duck with distinctive slate blue feathering, accented with black lacing on the feather edge. The wings and breasts will display some white. Males will be slightly larger and darker in color than females.

Due to our breeding program, Blue Swedish Duck Hatching Eggs will hatch out "blue" and not have splash or black feathering. The shade of blue will vary.
