IMPORTANT ORDERING INFORMATION: Eggs are collected fresh on Mondays from our breeding flock and shipped Tuesdays by USPS Priority Mail or FedEx. Hatching Eggs are labeled with breed code to help with ID during incubation. Eggs can be shipped year-round, but please use your own discretion when ordering during extreme weather. We guarantee that your eggs will arrive unbroken, but will not guarantee your hatching success because of the many variables with shipping, incubating and hatching. Breakage must be reported upon arrival.

If you love hatching your own chicks, like funky breeds and colorful eggs, we have the perfect hatching eggs available for you! The Frizzle Sapphire Jewel hatching eggs will provide you with hatching eggs that may produce 50 percent frizzled chicks. Not every chick that hatches will be a frizzle, but yes, you got the right eggs. The eggs you receive will generally be large to extra-large in size and WHITE in color.

When your chicks hatch, it is likely none will look frizzled because it can take up to 3 weeks for the frizzle to show. You should hatch lovely yellow chicks with some possible black spots. They will have clean, yellow or slate legs. Once fully feathered, they will be primarily white with some black or gray flecks possible. About half will have the frizzle presentation, with the other half having smooth feathers. Possible egg colors mature hens will lay include blue and brown, with about 6 eggs per week once production is established.
