The Grimaud Pekin checks all of the boxes; Dual purpose, fast growing, impressive feed conversion, friendly nature, and hardy in all climates. While considered a hybrid, this breed is 100% Pekin bloodlines. All of their desirable traits were achieved by crossing different strains of purebred Pekin. The result is a 49-day processing age with 30.2% skin and fat content or an egg producer providing 150+ eggs per year. Grimaud Hybrid Pekins take 28 days to hatch.
