Toulouse Day Old Goslings
IMPORTANT ORDERING DETAILS: Goslings have a minimum of 2 and you are able to mix and match among goose breeds to meet this minimum. Ducks and Geese can be shipped together, but each have their own minimum that must be respected. Waterfowl will ship Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, USPS Priority Mail, and arrive 1-3 days later. Waterfowl are not able to be picked up as they are sent from our hatching partner.
Toulouse geese are a longtime favorite, and perfect for small farms and homesteads. Originating from Western Greylag in southern France, this breed has a rich history. There are three types of Toulouse: the Production, Standard Dewlap, and Exhibition. Meyer Hatchery offers the Production Toulouse. They do not have a dewlap or have as large of a body cavity. Toulouse feathers are various shades of gray with the chest and abdomen a creamy white color. This is a sturdy dual-purpose breed that does very well at hatching and raising their goslings. Toulouse lay around 25 - 30 eggs per year.
