The Large Dewlap Toulouse is a gentle, quiet breed that is happier if kept without noisier breeds of geese. The Large Dewlap Toulouse has gray feathering and a large, fleshy dewlap that hangs from beneath the lower bill. As the bird ages, this dewlap will increase in size. Bill, legs, and feet are orange. This breed lays an average of 20-35 eggs per year. For best fertility, make sure the birds are allowed to free range and not get excessively heavy.
