Spice up your flock with Meyer Hatchery’s Assorted Rare Breed Chickens. This assortment is standard size breeds only; no bantams will be included. Possible breeds include anything from our rare breed category and may include hybrids.

Meyer Hatchery does not guarantee the number of each variety, but you will receive at least 5 different types of birds when ordering this assortment. Different colors of the same breed are considered distinct varieties.

This assortment is hatchery choice, and we are unable to record or mark the included breeds. When ordering an assortment from Meyer Hatchery, the best part is identifying your new chicks. This is not a service Meyer Hatchery is able to provide, so to assist in this, we have created a chick identification tool that will help you out in identifying your chicks. It is also possible for your chicks to come with a leg band on them if they happen to be one of the breeds we band for ID. Bonus! But don't forget to remove those leg bands or step up a size in 7 days. If you are unable to identify right when they arrive, wait until they start to get feathers and identifying features.
