Brown Eggs are a farm-fresh favorite! Get our Brown Egg Layer Assortment to receive a variety of brown egg-laying chicken breeds. Whether for market or personal use, ordering these day-old baby chicks is a sure way to have a variety of chickens to fill your coop and, if ordering females, a variety of brown eggs to fill your basket.

When you purchasing at least 10 of our Brown Egg Layer Assortment, you will receive at least three (3) varieties of any brown egg layer breed we carry. Different colors of the same breed will be counted as separate varieties. No special requests are accepted on assortments. The breeds will be hatchery choice, and we cannot mark or record the included breeds. This assortment is standard-size breeds only and may include hybrids. No bantams will be included.

The best part of ordering an assortment from Meyer Hatchery is identifying your new chicks. This is not a service Meyer Hatchery can provide, so to assist you, we have created a chick identification tool that will help you identify your chicks. It is also possible for your chicks to come with a leg band on them if they are one of the breeds we band for ID. Bonus! But don't forget to remove those leg bands or step up a size in 7 days. If you cannot identify them right when they arrive, wait until they start to get feathers and identifying features. Happy Identifying!
