IMPORTANT ORDERING DETAILS: Sasso Broiler chicks have a minimum of 15 for ship dates from April 1 to September 30 and 25 from October 1 to March 31. White Rangers, Gray Rangers, Red Broilers, and Sasso Broilers may be combined to meet the minimum. Sasso Broilers cannot be picked up as they are sent from our hatching partner. Meyer Hatchery can ship "Ship Separate" broilers to the continental United States and Alaska only.
The Sasso Chicken is another great broiler option for your family. This hybrid has been developed for those who prefer a slower-growing alternative to the current meat chickens available. Even though they are slower growing, they are still a heavy-bodied bird and pack a lot of meat on their frames. The Sasso males will usually reach an average of 7-8 pounds live weight by 10-12 weeks of age. The feathering is light tan and slightly barred or speckled.
