IMPORTANT ORDERING INFORMATION: Eggs are collected fresh from our breeding flock and shipped by USPS Priority Mail. Hatching Eggs are labeled with breed code to help with ID during incubation. Eggs can be shipped year-round, but please use your own discretion when ordering during extreme weather. We guarantee that your eggs will arrive unbroken but will not guarantee your hatching success because of the many variables with shipping, incubating, and hatching. Breakage must be reported upon arrival.
The Buff duck is a dual-purpose domestic breed originating from the Orpington region of Kent, UK. Like its chicken counterpart, the Buff is a charming and friendly bird that has become a popular and favored addition to backyard and farmstead flocks. Females will mature at around 5 lbs and will produce 130-180 white or tinted eggs per year. The rate of gain is relatively quick and ducks can be processed as soon as 8-10 weeks.
