Silver Runner Day Old Ducklings
IMPORTANT ORDERING DETAILS: Ducklings have a minimum of 3, and you are able to mix and match among duck breeds to meet this minimum. Ducks and Geese can be shipped together, but each have their own minimum that must be respected. Waterfowl will ship Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, USPS Priority Mail, and arrive 1-3 days later. Waterfowl are not able to be picked up as they are sent from our hatching partner.
The Silver Runner Duck, like all Runner ducks, has a lightweight, upright body and much better mobility than other domestic duck breeds. Not only are Runner ducks good egg layers, they are excellent foragers, making them fantastic for insect control around your property and gardens. They can also be used to train herding dogs. Silver Runner ducks are a new color variety and have elegant white to light gray feathering and a dark bill. Runner ducks lay mostly bluish-green eggs that are 65-80 grams in weight.
