Take a look at our Standard Chicken Hatching Eggs. All of these eggs come from standard-sized chicken breeds.
Meyer Hatchery offers select hatching eggs for our customers. These hatching eggs are the same eggs that we hatch out at Meyer Hatchery. Your hatching eggs will come stamped with our item number shown here, so you'll know exactly what breeds you have even before setting them. The ink is food-grade for the safety of your chicks. Chicken Hatching Eggs are sold individually, with a 1-egg minimum.
Fertilized Hatching Eggs are laid weekly on Mondays and shipped on Tuesdays. Eggs are not able to be sexed. During extremely cold weather, please use your best judgment on deciding whether to have hatching eggs shipped. We are unable to put a heat pack in the shipping box because it may begin the eggs' incubation process. Read more about our shipping rates and how we safely ship our hatching eggs directly to you. Hatching eggs are usually delivered to your address instead of being held at the post office like chicks. Please contact your local post office for more information.
After transport, whether picked up at the hatchery or shipped, please let your eggs sit for at least 12 hours before placing them into the incubator. For more information regarding our hatching eggs or tips on successful incubation, check out our help desk article or listen to the Meyer Hatchery Podcast episode: Incubation!
We guarantee that your eggs will arrive unbroken, but will not guarantee your hatching success because of the many variables with shipping, incubating, and hatching. Breakage must be reported upon arrival.
